Privacy Policy
Drawdown for iOS. Last updated March 15, 2026
The short version
Drawdown collects anonymous usage statistics to improve the app experience. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data.
Anonymous analytics
Drawdown uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service based in the EU (Germany), to collect anonymous usage statistics. TelemetryDeck does not collect any personally identifiable information. No tracking consent is required because no personal data is processed. Your usage data cannot be linked back to you in any way.
The anonymous data we collect includes:
- Which features are used (e.g. brewing, calculator, diagnosis tool)
- General app interaction patterns (e.g. brew started, brew completed)
We do not collect:
- No personal information or identifiers
- No cookies or tracking technologies
- No advertising identifiers
- No precise location data
For details on how TelemetryDeck handles data, visit telemetrydeck.com/privacy.
Data storage
Your coffee recipes (both the built-in defaults and any custom recipes you create) are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data is removed.
Third-party services
Drawdown uses TelemetryDeck for anonymous, privacy-first analytics. No other third-party services, SDKs, advertising networks, or crash reporting tools are used.
Children's privacy
Drawdown does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13. The anonymous analytics cannot identify any individual user. The app is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and the "last updated" date above. Since the app has no server component, any changes would come with an app update.
