Frequently asked questions

How do I start a brew?

Select a recipe on the home screen, then tap "Start brewing". The app will guide you through each step with a countdown timer and haptic feedback.

Can I create my own recipes?

Yes! With Drawdown Plus (a one-time purchase), you can create unlimited custom recipes. Tap the "+" button in the recipe picker to get started.

How do I restore my purchase?

Go to Settings (the gear icon in the tab bar) and tap "Restore purchases". Your Drawdown Plus purchase will be restored automatically if you bought it with the same Apple ID.

What is Fix My Brew?

Fix My Brew is a diagnosis tool that helps you troubleshoot taste issues. Pick your symptom (sour, bitter, watery, flat, or dry), tell it your setup, and get specific advice to improve your next brew. Available with Drawdown Plus.

Does Drawdown work offline?

Yes. All recipes and features work without an internet connection. Your data is stored locally on your device.

Does Drawdown collect my data?

Drawdown collects anonymous usage statistics via TelemetryDeck to improve the app. No personal data is collected, and your usage cannot be linked back to you. See our privacy policy for details.
